Parke & Ronen Spring 2017: Designer Swimwear

Behind the Scenes at Parke and Ronen’s Spring 2017 Beefcake Bonanza

In a show where models are cast for their chiseled abs and classically handsome good looks, Parke & Ronen upped the ante with their spring 2017 collection. The collection was inspired by Ivy League institutions with a nod to collegiate jocks and the prep styles commonly seen on college campuses. Varsity and team spirit motifs figured prominently throughout, along with whimsical patterns, and unexpected tropical accents on shorts, jackets and hoodies. For Spring, Parke & Ronen debuted a new men’s underwear line,  and exclusive collaborations with bags designed exclusively by Lodinatt and summer blazers by designer David Hart. Before the runway show, the models hung out backstage in their skivvies to shoot the spring 2017 lookbook. The supremely chiseled models rehearsed in their underwear, giving everyone an eyeful at their hard won physiques.  The new Parke & Ronen underwear line comes in briefs and shorts made from the softest Pima cotton  available. There were also collegiate style Letterman jackets and cotton jerseys with the letters “P” and “R” on the front and lots of varsity stripes reminiscent of college pennants. Warm weather swimtrunks, tanks, and  cropped tees were paired with crisp white Superga sneakers to round out the preppy feel of the collection. The entire show appeared vacation-ready with essential swimsuits, printed shorts, tanks, and fun jackets to pack for your next beach getaway.

More photos from the collection below, but first, some backstage pics as the models are prepped and spray tanned for the runway:
