The fashion world still won’t stop obsessing about jumpsuits. To say that the traditional work wear has become a sartorial staple in men’s fashion would be something of an exaggeration. However, if the men’s runway shows are any indication, then you are going to see a lot more of them come spring.
As recently as this past summer, the jumpsuit entered cutting edge designer status and has now has become a part of the lexicon: romper, romphim, onesie, aka the manzie. Sure it’s a small subset of men who wear them, but it managed to dominate the conversation all summer. However, next spring it’s a shared inspiration across both sides of the Atlantic and prominent enough to be dubbed a trend. The best jumpsuits were seen amongst the top men’s shows in Paris at Dior Homme, Louis Vuitton, Feng Chen Wang, Lanvin, Givenchy, Haider Ackermann, Rick Owens, and Issey Miyake and more.
