The Top Men’s Fall 2017 Trends: The Great White Way

Wear More White This Fall

The “no more white after Labor Day rule” is now officially a thing of the past. This winter, take advantage of ultra bright white to stand out among a sea of gray, black, and brown that are typically the norm the season. The fresh new offerings in outerwear now come in crisp glacier white to put a fresh spin on classics such as  parkas, blazers, topcoats, and trench coats.

Slightly less formal but still dress code appropriate is the white blazer, which fits nicely over the season’s on-trend colors of rust and gray. Consider a white, one-button blazer over relaxed gray trousers and a rust sweater to draw attention to your look without overpowering the other neutral colors. On the other hand, white athletic windbreakers and all weather anorak jackets have emerged as the perfect transitional piece for fall to wear over suits and denim. And when a lighter weight jacket just won’t cut it in freezing temps, you can opt for the season’s great white puffer coat to stop the winter chill in its tracks. Another casual jacket to consider is the white denim jacket, especially when paired with matching white denim as seen at Calvin Klein and Salvatore Ferragamo. With endless opportunities to incorporate white into your wardrobe, there’s no excuse not to pick up on this trend this winter.
