Peacebird is yet another Chinese label making their debut at New York Men’s Fashion week with a focus on 90s millennial style. The collection mixes popular American culture and iconic brands with nerdy, 90s normcore and school uniforms. The show titled “New Studentism,” is a throwback to nineties old-school uniforms. The collection featured graphic tees with “Coca Cola” logo and “Drink Coke” across sweatshirts, tees, and Vans. The look is a combination of athleisure and preppy that appeals to young Chinese millennials.

The playfully styled basketball uniforms, tracksuits, and a black and white vertical striped sweater are reminiscent of a referee’s uniform. Almost every look seemed familiar as models donned some form of sporty head wear from baseball caps to sweatbands and trucker hats. It was also very much a gender neutral collection with white sneakers, boxy blazers, and baggy jeans irreverently styled on both men and women.
