New York Fashion Week is having a moment, as young designers took center stage at New York Fashion Week. The best shows so far include Tom Ford’s spring show, where the likes of Gigi Hadid, brought back the runway twirl to great effect to close the show. Emerging label Greta Constantine channeled Studio 54 and Discount Universe gave us a powerful feminist message. Madonna’s daughter Lourdes Leon made her big runway debut at Gyspy Sport wearing a seashell body chain bra and low slung, shredded jeans. From the return of Rodarte to Opening Ceremony’s epic drag show, to political statements on the runway, Rihanna’s grand finale was one for the books.
