Custo Dalmau’s dazzling chromatic design patterns combined different fabrics and techniques using traditional materials to evoke a strong sense of modernism. The collection celebrates an eccentric individual style, equal parts unique and rebellious in his or her fashion style. For women a sophisticated patchwork of fabrics and binding techniques resulted in brightly colored mini-dresses, coats, jackets,  tunics and pants that featured organic techniques that could only be hand crafted.

The menswear looks were carefree and elegant, like a  man on a Mediterranean vacation, incorporating geometric and pictorial graphics, a Custo Barcelona signature. His original designs are a testament to his uniqueness in the fashion world. The standout accessories in the collection include his patchwork bauletto bag, double strap fantasy sandals, jacquard court shoes with ankle straps, and colorful sneakers. Custo Dalmau continues to stir up excitement with his tried and true formula for the eccentric and provocateur. A fresh outlook and a keen eye for what’s coming down the pike keeps him at the top of his game.

For spring S16 Nicole Miller captured the edgy grit of the New York City. The collection was reminiscent of the graffiti sprayed trains in Brooklyn and Queens in the1990s. Mini sheath dresses were splashed with colorful graffiti, brick prints, vibrant Keith Hering scribbles and paint drips. The most street smart looks had a casual athletic vibes, like a camouflage leather bomber jacket worn with stretch cargo pants and a sequin T-shirt. A cross between sturdy overalls and an apron dress gave an edge to long, flowing sun dresses. Graphic floral prints on elegant silk blouses struck just the right balance between urban street style and uptown gallerina. Stand out pieces were the full length sequined evening dresses with colorful graffiti patterns.

6. Givenchy
