Now in its third season, New York Mens fashion Week is finally gaining some traction and finding it’s groove. Here are some of the highlights from the week. Among fashion week’s top ambassadors, Kellan Lutz and Eric Rutherford, and  Ken Downing, Sr. Vice President of Neiman Marcus  attended what felt like almost every show on the calendar. There was Joseph Abbouds stellar mens presentation at The Park, followed by Tim Coppens, Chris Stampd, EFM, Robert Geller , Carlos Campos, Gypsy Sport, Cadet and Ovadia & Sons. On the second day, Michael Kors, John Elliott, Rochambeau, Nautica, Thaddeus Oneil, Tommy Hilfiger and Thorsun made the cut. With  David Hart, Todd Snyder, Parke & Ronen, Timo Weiland, Assembly, General Idea, Siki Im and John Varvatos finishing off the week.  John Varvatos closed men’s fashion week in grand style with an intimate presentation at The Django jazz club at The Roxy Hotel on the final day followed by an afterparty with a special performance by Tyler Bryant & The Shakedown at the designer’s 315 Bowery boutique. In addition to the athletic and fitness brands that popped up on the runway from Reebok, N. Hollywood, and Under Armour by Tim Coppens,  there were a number of athletes that made the rounds at fashion week. Snowboarder Shaun White, Minnesota Timberwolves’ Shabazz Muhammad, Golden State Warriors’ Andre Iguodala and Cleveland Cavalier’s Dahntay Jones were on the scene. Forget Athleisure, the newest trend in menswear Is actual athletic attire. Here’s a few of our favorite bold face names and dedicated followers of fashion and what they wore to New York Men’s Fashion Week.
