What We Want Angelina Jolie to Wear for Her Wedding

Angelina Jolie is the most beautiful woman in the world. Her look is timeless and her statuesque beauty is complemented by her minimalist approach to style. Kate Middleton’s wedding was England’s fantasy and now Brangalina’s will give us our fairytale wedding.

Brad Pitt is taking the reigns of the wedding planning and it is to be in their summer home in the south of France. There is no telling what type of dress she will be wearing. Will she choose to go with a dress that appeals to Brad’s traditional views or will stick to minimalist approach to style? Maybe she’ll take a look to our suggestions and pick from there (Ehhhemmm McQueen!).

We don’t know what she will wear for her wedding, but these looks are what WE think she deserves as well as we would like to see her wear.

This Stella McCartney Evening 2012 gown alludes to a refined look of elegance without the overstated extravagance of your typical celebrity wedding. Angelina Jolie’s style takes influence from minimalism rather than materialism. Gwenyth Paltrow wore this dress at the Grammys in all black, but who cares; Angelina would be perfect in all white.

Tom Ford’s 2012 sleek, one-shoulder, white dress with removable cape perfectly portrays Angelina’s posture through its gathering and structured shoulders. Not to add another who-wore-what, but yes, Gwenyth Paltrow also wore this dress to the Oscars. Any woman who appreciates minimalism, especially Angelina, would adore the ease of wearing such a garment.

Emilio Pucci’s Spring 2012 dress caters to the desire for a traditional wedding as planned by Angelina’s fiance, Brad Pitt. Femininity is exemplified in the empire waistline accented with a bow. Peter Dundas reinterprets the iconic patterns from the House of Pucci in white laser cut lace.

Marchesa’s Fall 2012 gown frames and draws attention to the shoulders and neckline. The gilded, gold bodice hugs the waist and hips, drawing the eye directly to the dress. Bold brocades exude the rich qualities that you want in a glamorous wedding while the folded tulle fishtail mocks tradition.

Alexander McQueen by Sarah Burton Fall 2011 gown shows with fully exposed shoulders and an ivory form fitting bodice that shapes waist and hips highlighting the perfect figure, like Angelina Jolie’s. Pleated silk organza ruffles starting just below the hips with its full volume and train creates a dramatic entrance.

Alexander McQueen “Windows of Culloden” Fall 2006 is pure romanticism. Imagine sweeping down the isle in a tiered, vintage, cream silk tulle and lace gown with layers billowing down to a train. An original Alexander McQueen design would be the ideal “something borrowed.”

Who wouldn’t want Givenchy Haute Couture from Fall 2011? Throw in some Givenchy Spring 2012 Haute Couture jewelry for a bold and edgy statement. Hand selected pearls or individually sewn petals, are symmetrically placed to look like scales trending an underwater theme. An original Riccardo Tisci piece exemplifies the pain-staking craft and talent that it takes to create a one-of-a-kind gown made for someone Angelina Jolie.
