Veronique Branquinho Fall 2013: Cool Girl Staples

image
Veronique Branquinho’s fall 2013 collection radiated sophistication in the most simple manner. The designer worked layered monochromatic looks in off white, beige, caramel and black with pops of emerald green or highlighter yellow. Branquinho opted for light fabrications like airy silks and lightweight wools. Many of the looks were topped-off with luxurious furs, cowboy hats, or armfuls of wooden bracelets.

The Belgian designer has a knack for imbuing modest clothes with a bit of drama sending out caramel colored silk palazzo trousers with matching turtleneck sweater, all wrapped with a luxurious highlighter yellow car coat.

A camel dress with lavish fur trim on the sleeves was layered over a caramel turtleneck and matching skinny trousers, and finished with a cowboy hat.  A look that is sure to keep you warm on those chilly autumn days.

Continuing with a minimalist theme, Branquinho sent out a nude sheath dress worn over a  turtleneck that was layered over a pair of gleaming skinny silk trousers accentuating the female form through its clean lines and feminine silhouette that skimmed the model’s body.

Among her edgier looks was an exquisitely tailored jacket embellished with brass studs running down the seams paired with an elongated pencil skirt, and an off-white studded long slim dress reminiscent of  a modern day cowgirl.

Veronique Branquinho’s fall-winter 2013 collection is characterized by clean modern shapes with a hint of sophistication.
