Top Menswear Trends for Fall 2013 – TOO BOOT!

image

For winter 2013, we spotted a number of blizzard-beating boots front and center in either traditional Everest-ready versions or street-style friendly rendered in exotic skins. Some came with oxfords stitching, while others were combat-ready and weathered. Among our favorites were DSquared’s wingtip-style boots available in both cognac and black and John Varvatos’ black lace-up combat boots with a slight sheen that is sure to toughen-up any look. Moschino’s oxford-combat boot hybrid is the perfect day to evening shoe featuring a punch hole pattern and a red sole. Prada’s flash-back to the ultimate lug soled boots was seen in a cognac color ankle boot reminiscent of the 1970s Doc Marten shoe. Bringing a Roman influence to the mix, Gucci’s double closure combat boot is sure to make a statement with a wide leather strap wrapping the ankle. Things got hairy at Versace, as Donatella sent out a pair of black pony-skin boots with big gold zippers running down the sides. Whether you opt for the old school classic in black or an exotic pair, make sure to roll-up your pants to show off the intricate details of the boot.
