“Part aesthete, part athlete, part Savile Row rebel” is how Todd Snyder summed up his Fall collection of vintage classics made modern. The collection was infused with a healthy dose of old-school silhouettes including billowy trousers, raw cuffed denim, tweed jackets and cozy cardigans that looked as if they might have been borrowed from your sartorially-savvy grandfather. Many of the looks nodded to the romantic collegiate style from the 50s and decades past. Partnering again this season with retro-cool brand Champion, Snyder create an updated “running man” logo which was printed on sweatshirts and jogger sets. A refined American elegance accompanied the clothes and accessories came in the form of a new watch in collaboration with Timex. The nostalgic old-school flair and ivy league aesthetic felt perfectly in sync with the modern era.
