The spring summer 2014 collection was the embodiment of everything we love about Raf Simons work, supremely tailored slim jackets, skinny trousers and man skirts paired with oversized graphic printed T-shirts that literally resemble short dresses for men.
Raf Simons customary rebel graphic prints referenced everything happening in pop culture, landing on elongated blousons paired with shorts or slim-fitting trousers. The prints shouted, “This is the New Shape,” or “Yo Ga” “Artificially Flavored,” and “Super Nylon.” All in all, a very clever way to advertise fashion!
The minimal color palette ranged from black to white with pops of light grey and pale pink, set against lean, athletic inspired silhouettes. The collection exploded with skinny, triple-pleated leather trousers, extra long and lean polo shirts that fell almost all the way down to the knees, crew-necks, loose-fitting tees, shorts, and spiffy car coats.
