Prada’s Wonderlust Nomads Sport High Tech Utilitarian Travel Wear for Spring 2017

Miuccia’s Prada nomadic travel inspired menswear collection radiates a futuristic vibe with her intense array of vibrant geometric prints, doppler weather maps and striking thermal printed cagoule  (aka lightweight knee-length anorak or rain coat.)  Prada’s styling tour de force featured models loaded up with nylon backpacks wearing liquid patent shoes, jellies or cross strap sandals worn with hiking socks and a spare pair of shoes attached to bags. Technical fabrics and nylon dominated the collection in the form of ripstock anoraks, neoprene leggings, backpacks, and slim fitting windbreakers. Many of the looks came accessorized with drawstring safari style hats worn with the ubiquitous chunky sock-and-sandal combinations seen at nearly all of the men’s spring 2017 collections. Athletic details such as elasticized waists and ankle gathered trousers and shorts are a testament to the versatility and multi-function use of each piece. The genius is in the brands focus on both function and style.  Miuccia Prada’s extravagant utilitarian travel wear exudes just the right amount of luxury and street cred to help take your wonderlust to the next level.
