Ermenegildo Zegna had the flyest front row at their Spring 2019 menswear show in Milan. Each guest was kitted out with the Zegna’s latest “Tiziano” hightop sneakers. The shoes feature the label’s XXX logo, which is a nod to the traditional tailors tacks used on custom suiting lapels. The couture quality craftsmanship at Zegna takes custom tailoring to the street. What better to take you from the office to a night out on the town.

Creative director, Alessandro Sartori set out to prove that despite the rise of athleisure, couture is not dead. In fact, consider the Zegna show it’s revival. The fashion house cast their models for the show before constructing each piece in the collection in order to ensure that each garment fit perfectly. Sartori elevated matching blouson jackets and trousers with “techno couture” details not generally seen in men’s ready-to-wear. The sets also came in matching plaids or check ensembles, with zippered cargo pockets, drawstrings, and elastic trousers cuffs. Zegna’s sporty version of couture bomber jackets and quarter-zips over track pants are the perfect weekend wardrobe to enhance your personal style without sacrificing comfort.
