Burberry’s new playful aesthetic went from miltary to playful with trench coats rolled out in see-through latex or leopard-printed ponyskin. Bailey mixed Burberry’s signature plaid with animal prints such as leopard and zebra to create a cool, new quirky contrast on bags, shoes and outerwear.
The result was charming and fun, extremely well cut clothes, especially the repeat heart patterned crew neck sweater. The heart print sweater was instantly deemed a classic and was juxtaposed with pointy leopard print shoes and tiger striped red tinged glasses. Baileys talent continues to push the brand into fresh territory.
