Missoni’s featherweight textural linens, silks, elasticized cotton and cashmere are dyed in explosive colors like saffron, light marigold, dark lavender, and deep blues invoking the vivid colors of the souk and the warmth of natural sunlight. The hand-woven, leather slippers and sandals brought to mind the artisanal design elements of North African leather craftsmen. All of it topped off with long woven scarves sported by bare-chested model, which made them look even sexier. The heady bohemian spirit of the collection seemed to express the intoxicating influence of travel during the languorous, hot days of Summer.
