Kean Etro pushed the prints and Italian craftsmanship for which the company is known to create a a multicultural blend of menswear that is reminiscent of “A new barbarian world tribe.” He infused a plethora of colorful fabrics with eclectic symbolism. The collection focused on cold weather coats in fur, shearling and thick wool fabrics, sometimes blending different fabrics all together into one garment. Full length woven jackets, including colorfully patterned herringbone styles in bright color combinations, often with mandala patterns and rich Celtic symbology was used on both long and short shearling jackets with rounded shoulders, all paired over slim, tight fitting trousers.
