Versace’s Spring 2017 Men’s Show Included a Tribute to Prince

Donatella Versace showed nylon wind coats and hiking sandals at her Spring 2017 show infused with a heavy dose of raw masculinity courtesy of a new collab with Bruce Weber.  Billowing nylon wind coats and anoraks were prominent, as were flowing robes over leggings and shorts worn with thick hiking sandals.  She paired long shirts or hoodies with leggings and cycle shorts, while finely woven silk sweaters were tied loosely around waists and worn with jackets and mesh tops.

To top off her new streamlined menswear collection Versace’ spring show was scored by none other than the artist known as Prince before he passed away last year.  Prince gave Donatella his music to be used as a score for her show shortly before he died.
