HEDI SLIMANE EXITS SAINT LAURENT

Always leading never following, Hedi Slimane injected his own sartorial vision at his final Saint Laurent Fall 2016 Paris show. Slimane’s genius for tapping into the zeitgeist and injecting his unique vision has garnered him a whole new generation of fans. However, with his recent departure in early April from the house of Saint Laurent, Slimane is now free again to pursue his other interests whether it’s fashion, photography, graphics or furniture design.

There is no denying Slimane’s extraordinary journey and the role he’s played in fashion. In 2001, while at Dior he changed the way men wore clothes by proposing not only a daring new silhouette, but also a whole new attitude. The Slimane era is not over, and we predict he will continue to remain omnipresent on the worldwide menswear stage.  We can’t wait to see what Slimane does next.
