Rochambeau Fall 2016: Epic Street Outerwear

Designers Laurence Chandler and Joshua Cooper straight up 90s collection of epic oversized outerwear was inspired by Bishop played by Tupak Shakur in the film “Juice. ” We felt the layering and bigger fits from the film ‘Juice’ featuring Tupac Shakur was the story we wanted to tell,” Chandler said. The collection offered up a truly astounding array of oversized outerwear, varsity jackets, puffy gilets worn with wide-legged trousers and shorts. In a bold stroke, the vibrant outerwear truly stole the show, with varsity jackets and hooded parkas with contrasting elbow patches in rich cream, navy, orange and brown.
The intricate layered looks were rendered in corduroy, technical fabrics and nylon with velour, all paired with socks and Nike Air Force One sneakers. Some of the highlights from the collection include an orange anorak with embellished elbow patches, and an elongated turtleneck with a front pullover that emphasized the oversized proportions.
