In a sublime twist of athletic wear and fashion coming together, the puffer coat is poised to become the trendiest, must have coat for fall 2016. At the Paris Fall 2016 men’s shows Raf Simons made headlines with exaggerated, oversized puffer coats in deep jewel tones, while Dior Homme sent out a floral puffer with a fur lined hood. You can shell out for a down coat filled with goose feathers, or choose a synthetic fiber filled coat for a more affordable option. The newest version of cropped puffers are cut a little shorter. Choose a jacket with a lot of fill to add bulk or less fill in a smaller quilting pattern for a slim flattering effect. The heavier the down, the more it will add bulk to slim physiques. To keep it modern, lose the more traditional fur-lined hood and opt for a beanie instead.
