House of Holland Sale

From Northern Rajasthan influences to tribal-inspired prints, artistic inspiration took hold during Paris Fashion week in a very eclectic way.  Prepare yourself for the new brightly coloured prints that are all the rage this summer. This inspirational artwork elevates every piece imbuing it with an “up-to-the-minute” contemporary feel that emanates from the street. Serious brands like Givenchy, Dior, Valentino and Hermes embraced an elegant, slouchy “relaxed” style making the rounds in the fashion world this season, displaying “high-panache” summer-ready street styles rendered with colourful bold graphic prints.

The season’s biggest trend was as varied as it was bold, bright and sexually ambiguous at YSL, Rick Owens, Kenzo and Sacai. The message seems to be have fun with whimsy prints as seen on the runway at Thom Browne, Junya Watanabe, Paul Smith, Yohji Yamamoto, Louis Vuitton and Phillip Lim.  Here’s our pick of the cream of the crop  from Paris which best represent this edgy trend.
