Insane furs prowled the runway from New York to Paris
It takes a certain kind of man to pull off a fur coat. And this season men clad in massive shearling coats and furs looked as if they’d trekked straight out of Quentin Tarantino’s wintry western “The Hateful Eight.” Not everyone can look as cool as Channing Tatum’s character from the film with his extreme, mountain man look. So, the only other option appears to be that of embracing the Kanye West or Puff Daddy look. With the latest fur offerings from Burberry, Michael Kors, Pyer Moss, Bottega Veneta, Brioni, Dolce Gabbana and Fendi you too can look fly. The furry outerwear continues to fuel the ongoing debate over whether men can wear fur.
This fall designers have you covered with a multitude of styles and fur coats to suit everyone’s taste with some worn as scarves, fur collars, chubby coats or cut as bathrobes. Fur coats prowled the fall runways from New York to Paris. These are not your grandmother’ mink or fox tail stoles. Rather, designers worked on an array of furs — sometimes even combining a variety of fur pelts into one single coat via creative patchwork and patterning.
