Diesel Black Gold Fall 2012

Sophia Kokosalaki’s latest collection for Diesel Black Gold was all about a relaxed and laidback attitude with easy to wear cool-girl pieces. Sophia really thinks about her customer, dressing them in comfort like classic button down shirts paired with low slung pleated skirts, cropped jeans or slouchy shorts. Printed jeans in a splatter paint print with boots and shoes to match were a big part of the story. The jeans in this collection resembled Jackson Pollack’s splattered paint, but otherwise came in bright contrasting colors and were cut just below the knee. A fair amount of leopard print was also seen on skirts and shorts and a full trench coat. Leather was put to a good use in skirts, cropped pants and a motorcycle jacket in textured mock crocodile. The combination of a tough city girl attitude mixed with relaxed classics are staples of every modern woman’s wardrobe.
